Debbie McNeill

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. Fellow demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia are participating. We have a wide array of fun projects and design styles to share with you! You may have arrived from Melissa Faust’s blog. I going to make more cards like hers with the Basic Black and Magenta Madness color combination.

I’m a fan of the Memories & More Card Packs so I was thrilled when it coordinated with the World of Good Suite. This suite has an antique, old-world elegance that makes it ideal for creating decor, preserving treasured travel memories, and designing those ever-elusive masculine cards. As a travel girl, memory keeper and someone who lived on a boat – this suite speaks to me.  Let’s get this new catalog adventure started!

World of Good Suite by Stampin' Up!

This suite includes the Beautiful World stamp and die bundle, foil accented World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper, a coordinating Memories & More card pack, and antiqued embellishments that will make your projects rich in detail.  Here is the Memories & More card pack samples.  Aren’t they rich?

World Of Good Memories & More Card Pack #153600

To create the focal point, I used the World Map Dies to die cut the following: Cut a scrap Misty Moonlight with the circle. Cut a globe from scrap Copper Foil. Cut the tall globe stand from scrap Early Espresso cardstock.

This suite coordinates with three of the new 2020-2022 In Color Collection: Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider,  and Misty Moonlight.  I mixed and matched the World Of Good Memories & More Card Pack with the World Of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The card base is from the Flowers For Every Season Memories & More Cards & Envelopes.  I cut an additional layer of Misty Moonlight cardstock.

I stamped the greeting on Whisper White Thick cardstock with Early Espresso ink. To center a greeting evenly in the Pick a Punch you can measure the greeting, plus the space you want on each edge, and add 1/4″. Then stamp greeting in the center of the strip and punch each edge.

Lovely Labels Pick A Punch

Or get a really well centered greeting without measuring by cutting a strip of cardstock at 1″ wide. Slide one end into the largest groove of the square-tipped punch and punch. Remove punched label and pick up the little bracket sliver that was punched off the end to use in the next steps. Stamp greeting from Here’s a Card stamp set on the punched strip with Early Espresso ink. Leave almost 1/2″ between the punched end and the greeting to leave space for an Enamel Dot. Take the little leftover punched sliver and place it on the right edge of the greeting like a bracket. Move it so the spacing is even on each side of the greeting. Use a pencil to draw a line on your greeting strip at the strait edge of the bracket.

I added the Cinnamon Cider Ribbon and 2020–2022 In Color Enamel Dots.   The finished card is 4-1/4″ x 6-1/4″ and it has a matching envelope.

The Memories & More cards are white inside (yet another reason I’m a fan).  I cut strips of left over paper and layered them with a Memories & More small card.  This card is a great birthday but could easily be changed to a Father’s Day card for the guys in your life.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and going on this adventure together.
