Handmade Holiday Retreat 2023

Come join us for some focused time away to learn the latest crafting techniques at the Rubber Stamping Handmade Holiday Weekend Retreat. It’s our time to relax, socialize, craft, and get ready for the busy holiday season. Whether you enjoy making Fall wreaths or designing your Christmas cards, this all-inclusive event will have exactly what you need to get into the holiday spirit.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:

Food, prepared supplies, Stampin’ Up! product from the Holiday Catalog, adhesives, and giveaways. Substitutions can be made for like products if you already have included products, just leave a note in the order form.

  • ALL meals from arrival at the property to departure (exception of Thursday night). Full breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet style.  We usually have snacks in between. I promise you won’t go hungry!

  • Single Room per person: $425
  • Double/Triple Room per person: $375

THURSDAY EXTRA ADD-ON $75 double / $100 for Single
This year will have the option to include an extra day for Thursday, Sept 14th, and includes lodging and 2 additional meals (Breakfast & Lunch). Join us Thursday at 5 pm!

Where is the retreat?

Rockaway Beach, Oregon.

Is there a Saturday Only Reservation?

On July 31st, if we still have room we will make a few Saturday only spots available at $97. In the past, this event has sold out completed so we have not been able to offer the Saturday Only.

What should I bring to the event?

I would bring minimal crafting supplies besides your favorite drink or snack. All project supplies are provided for except for the following:
1) High quality acrylic blocks or stamp positioner for stamping
2) Your favorite craft adhesive (I supply liquid glue, dimensional, and glue dots)
3) Your favorite pair of scissors
4) Regular Tools: Bone Folder, Stamp Cleaner
5) Inks: (TBA)

What are the rooms like?

Each room has a double bed and a twin bunk with a full bathroom.

Can I stay an extra day?

Yes! For the first time in the many years we have been hosting a retreat at this location, there is an optional Thursday night. You will have access to the food, lodging, facilities, and MarketPlace Projects.

What is the MarketPlace?

It has been my experience from past events that some guests like to take their time and not be rushed (that’s me). I’ve designed the event so you can complete included technique projects without being rushed. However, there are those who stay up late or quick at completing the projects so I have created the MarketPlace. The MarketPlace is where top paper crafting designers will offer projects to be completed that are more detailed projects (or just plain cute), ranging from cards to gift giving. This is your opportunity to craft amazing projects with the designer on hand to help guide you and answer questions. These projects are optional. The prices and themes will vary, generally between $1 to $35.

MarketPlace projects are not included in the retreat price

Is my registration/ticket transferable?

You are available to transfer your registration to someone else or have the projects mailed to you.

What is the refund policy?

Due to the nature of this intimate event, details are planned and personalized far in advance for each of our guests, so all deposits and payments are 100% non-refundable. The registration fees are invested to secure your spot and to order the supplies.

In the unlikely event the retreat is cancelled by the organizer because of weather or illness, you will have an option to either attend a rescheduled event or we will refund lodging and food costs and send you all the supplies to complete the projects at home.

What if I have a food allergy?

The retreat’s food service staff receives great reviews from guest groups, especially it’s homemade goods. Special assistance is available for individuals with specific dietary needs, including diabetics and vegetarians. Please let me know during registration if you have specific dietary needs or food allergies.

I have a mobility challenge, can I still attend?

All the rooms are on bottom floor. It is an easy walk to the cafeteria where we eat. The trail is paved the complete way.

When are meals served?

Breakfasts are served between 8:00am to 9:00am. Lunch is served at noon. Dinner is generally served around 5:30pm. Friday night meal service is at 5:30pm. We will have coffee, tea, and water available in the stamping area during the day.
