My Copy Code Button isn’t Working

craftyperson-newsletterservice1

We have changed our technology for the Copy Code button. We’ve tested it on the latest versions of the supported browsers.  If you are having issues with the Copy Code button, here are some options to try.

Try a Different Browser

We have had reports of the issue with all of the big four: FireFox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Safari. It is the settings for Java/Flash plugin for the browsers which is causing issues. When some of our members switched, the issue with copy code went away. It might be that you don’t have the latest browser update as well or have not enabled the service. Here are links to download the latest browsers.

    1. Firefox
    2. Google Chrome or Google Chrome Here
    3. Internet Explorer
    4. Safari

Do you use MailChimp?

If you use MailChimp, we have an option for you which you can find posted on our website here.

Copy Source Code

You can copy the source code from the Preview page. This was the tried and true way we used to copy the HTML source code. IT works consistently and is easy once you get the hang of it.

When you are viewing the Preview of a saved newsletter after you have selected the Modify and Save button.

Our go-to method for copying is Ctrl+U for PCs and Cmd+U for the MAC.

You can find detailed instructions on WikiHow.com.

Safari

  1. Safari menu > Preferences > Advanced.
  2. Check “Show Develop menu in menu bar”. Close Safari’s preferences.
  3. Develop menu > Show Page Source
