Card Candy Convention Swap 2015

ClassinaFlash-Conv2014-CardCandySwap-016

We had our 4th 2″ x 2″ swap at Salt Palace Convention Center on July 23rd.  We’ve really enjoyed it again this year.  It’s so fun to get together and we enjoy getting several card candy fronts to take home with us.

DATE: Thursday July 23rd 8:30am – 8:45am
LOCATION: Salt Palace Convention Center
Lobby Near General Session Theater

The swap was 2″ x 2″ card candy fronts – easy-peasy. What’s so great about swapping card candy is you can showcase the new In Colors to your customers and how they can enjoy the art of stamping in fun bite sized pieces! They make an adorable sampler package. See sample ideas here of cards, scrapbook pages, and framed art that you can make with all the samples you will have. You will swap to get a variety of samples, you only need to create single 2″ x 2″ square card candy design. The theme for this swap is the latest In Colors. So all your card candy will have a consistent color theme if they are on a board.

  2. Hi there! I have signed up for this swap – so excited – and this is the first time I have done card candy. Do I need to have anything on the back for attachment? Do I still add my info and recipe, as we do in a cardfront swap? Do I need to include in a clear envelope? So many questions!

    • Kathy, you don’t need to add anything to the back of the swap. You do not need to include a clear envelope. Some demos do to preserve the swap, but it is not necessary.

  3. I have 1 question: On the candy cards, do we “stamp, write or put a post-it-note with our name” on the back of these?
    Thank you.

  4. We’ve received questions about how many swaps to make.

First I want to make sure you know our recommended swap to bring is between 10 and 50. So you could bring 12 or 42 and that would be just fine.

To see the total number of people who have signed up for the swap you need to go to the ticket page and scroll to the bottom. This link was provided on your emailed ticket or use the link below.

  5. I would like to join your swap on the 23rd. See you there.
    Thanks for the invite.
