I recently read a blog post by Gretchen Rubin who said September is her other January. I totally agree. September is a clean slate to start a new. I can’t move past the new school year routine, even at 50 something. I habitually do four things in the month of September.

Hello it’s Debbie from the CraftyPerson team. I live in Portland Oregon on a boat. I know, a little different but it’s me. I often am asked what it is like to live-aboard a boat year-round? I thought I would take an opportunity to give you a little tour of our home sweet home.

Our Technique Mini Retreat
Hi! It’s Debbie from CraftyPerson. My team and I held a stamping technique mini retreat last month, from 10-3 on a Saturday, in downtown Portland. As you can see by our header photo, fun was had by all. Seeing the boys have a blast (and eating a lot of red licorice) is what it’s all about for me. People learning, creating, and having fun together!

Being Sick
I’ve been sick the last couple of days. I tweaked my back and haven’t been able to do much without pain killers. You would think I would be frustrated, especially since it’s the holidays. But I’m not and here is why.

RIP Susy Miller
A number of demonstrators were waiting in line to use the one and only computer at the hotel to check-in online and print our boarding passes for our outgoing flights. We were all gabbing and having a good time during the hour-long wait. The person in front of me was Susy Miller. She was a SUN Member so it was nice to catch-up with her.
