Welcome to CraftyPerson! We are Debbie McNeill and Amy Barnes, friends and creative business crafters. Together we strive to encourage, inspire, and support the CraftyPerson in you! We’ve been working together since 2008, combining our technical and creative backgrounds to co-produce creative content and high quality tutorials. We are here to help others who want to start a business in the Stampin’ Up! family.
We’ve produced over 300 online class tutorials, 2,000 newsletters, hosted 5 creative retreats, and two holiday mini books. Most of our readers are from the United States, but we also have friends in Canada, Australia, Austria, Germany, England, and New Zealand. 44.9% of our readers are iPhone users.
Just who are we exactly? Glad you asked! I’m Debbie McNeill and I live in gorgeously green, albeit sometimes damp, Portland, Oregon, and my co-founder, Amy Barnes is from fabulously scenic Firestone, Colorado.
We’re both Stampin’ Up! ® demonstrators whose paths happened to cross in 2007 at the Stampin’ Up! convention in Colorado. I had recently started a newsletter service for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. During the convention, Amy and I used each other as a sounding board for ideas and from that, our class planner service for demonstrators, Class in a Flash, was born.
After 7 years of providing monthly and special-edition class planners, the technology and the demonstrators’ needs, as well as our quest for new challenges, had changed to the point where we decided to discontinue our service. It was sad to close our doors, so to speak, but since then, we have talked to many demonstrators, received feedback, and started generating ideas for something new. We at CraftyPerson Production are very excited to introduce to you our new offerings:
Stamping Simplified — This is our membership site where you will find the high-quality projects, photos, and instructions that you are used to from us. We think you’ll love the new look, content, and features all organized in an easy-to-use site that is available to inspire you and to help when and where you want it. It is similar to Class in a Flash, but it is project based (instead of class based) and it is available and accessible online 24/7. Stamping Simplified also includes an improved technique notebook and easier to use instructions. <<Coming in Winter 2018>>
CraftyPerson Newsletters — A service for Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators that is both time and sanity saving — a professional yet fun way to help demonstrators keep in touch with their customers. Starting in January, we will be offering a full newsletter service including Monthly Customer Newsletter, Team Newsletter, and a Promotional/Catalog Helper each month. CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS
Techniques Magazine — We are expanding the way we share our techniques with you. We have launched a Technique Magazine! YAY!!!!! We began printing in March 2017 and quickly sold out. We are in the process of ordering more copies. CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS
